    What is Salt Therapy?

    Salt Therapy is a natural therapy that consists of inhaling pharmaceutical-grade salt particles in a relaxed and controlled setting for 45 minutes.

    Pharmaceutical grade salt is the purest form of salt that possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that improve respiratory symptoms, skin issues, detoxification, and general health.

    Therapy is recommended 3-4 times a month for best results.

    Salt therapy is a safe, natural, and recognized wellness practice.

    As fluid is cleared from the lungs, it is common for individuals to experience a runny nose during the therapy or increased coughing that should subside shortly after the session. This is normal and not a harmful side effect of the therapy.

    Salt therapy is not recommended for individuals with severe hypertension, cancer, heart problems, 3rd stage COPD (spitting blood), infectious disease, fever, or active tuberculosis.

    Additionally, Salt Therapy also provides relief from skin problems such as Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea, and Dermatitis.

    Each room’s walls and floors are covered in salt to replicate the feeling of salt caves. During each session, a Halogenerator distributes fine salt particles into the air, causing the room to be filled with a thick white mist.

    Clients can relax in one of our reclining chairs, practice yoga, or sit directly on the salt floor. See images of our amenities.

    Each session lasts 45 minutes.

    Most individuals do not need a Dr.’s approval for Salt Therapy due to the fact that it is natural and drug-free.

    Individuals who have severe symptoms and conditions should talk to their doctor before trying any new form of therapy. If you are pregnant, please consult with your doctor.

    Salt Therapy is not a medical treatment and often works to prevent and restore wellness – it is not used to cure, but rather to alleviate symptoms.

    It varies depending on your symptoms. Some clients experience immediate results while others see results over time.

    Sea Salt Therapy is safe for daily sessions but most of our clients attend 3-4 times a month. Clients who are focused on maintenance attend 1-2 times a month.

    If you have a busy schedule and would prefer to combine sessions, you can avail of our or annual membership and attend extended sessions once a week.

    Salt Therapy is safe for all ages and for young children.

    At Sea Salt Therapy, we accommodate children that are 2 years and older. Inform our front desk staff that you have a child attending therapy so that we can have clean and disinfected toys ready in the room for your visit.

    If you are pregnant, please consult with your doctor before trying Salt Therapy. Feel free to share Salt Therapy literature with your doctor

    A medical massage focuses on a variety of techniques in order to manage muscle pain by relieving nerve compression and improving circulation.

    A spa massage focuses on massage techniques that promote relaxation of the body and senses by using less pressure on the muscles.

    Our licensed therapists are qualified to offer you a variety of techniques that will work best for your body.

    Most clients undress to their underwear for a full body massage as massage oils are typically used on problem areas during the session.

    A sheet is draped around the parts of your body that are not being worked on during the session.

    Undress to your personal comfort level and our professional massage therapists will do their best to work around articles of clothing.

    Tipping is not required but is definitely appreciated. Tips are not shared so you can be assured that your tip will go directly to your Massage Therapist.

    vs. Private Room?

    Our Semi-Private room is designed to accommodate up to five individuals at one time. Privacy panels ensure privacy and 6’ spacing adherence of COVID protocols. Each of the designated spaces features a t.v., a box of tissues, a wastebasket, and a hand sanitizer.

    Our Private room is designed for families, groups of friends, or individuals that desire complete privacy. Children under 13 years of age must attend therapy with a paying adult in the private room.

    of a Session?

    Each Salt Therapy session lasts 45 minutes.

    Medical Massage sessions are 60 minutes or 90 minutes respectively.

    Clients with busy schedules who prefer to stay in our salt rooms for an extended period of time are welcome to avail of our pre-paid packages or the annual membership.

    Our sessions run at specific times to allow time for our staff to clean, disinfect and prepare the rooms for your safety and convenience.

    Walk-ins are welcome, however, it would be best to schedule an appointment to ensure that there is availability. If you do not want to book a session ahead of time, we would recommend that you give us a call ahead of time to assure availability.

    Yes. In fact, most of our clients book a medical massage prior to their salt therapy session for ultimate relaxation.

    Note that your massage will take place in the designated Massage Room and that you will transfer to the Salt Room after your massage.

    All cancellations require a 24-hour notice in order to receive a full refund.

    If you are an Annual Member, you can make up sessions as long as it is within your membership year.

    A private event gives you access to both Salt Therapy rooms, our medical massage rooms, and our lobby for a minimum of 3 hours.

    Do I Need to Wear a Mask
    During My Session?

    In compliance with COVID-19 safety procedures, we require all clients to wear masks and keep a minimum of 6’ of social distancing.

    Clients will be asked to wait in our outdoor waiting room and guided to enter the salt rooms one at a time for the safety of your health.

    Masks are not required upon entry of the Salt Rooms. Our Massage Therapists and staff required to wear their masks when interacting with clients.

    What Should I Wear

    We recommend wearing something comfortable to your session.

    Note that salt particles will be circulating in the room and will land on your clothing leaving a white chalk-like appearance that can be dusted off.

    If you have other engagements after your session, we would recommend bringing a change of clothes that can be stored in our changing room.

    All you need to bring is clean socks to wear during your session. You can also purchase socks from our front desk.

    Each room features a t.v., reading material, and headphones for your relaxation and convenience.

    You are welcome to bring your own blankets, pillows, or yoga mats* to your session.

    *Yoga mats are not allowed in the Semi-Private Room due to space constraints.

    We recommend arriving 15 minutes ahead of your session time to allow time for check-in, shoe removal, and any questions you may have for the front desk.

    We have Covid-19 procedures in place for your health and safety so that there is never any traffic while waiting for your session.

    Our front desk staff will direct you to relax in our lobby or our outdoor waiting room to maintain social distance safety.

    Our Semi-Private room allows a 5-minute grace period for latecomers in order not to disturb others. The session time will end at the original time scheduled.

    If you arrive late for the Private room or for your message, please note that your session time will end at the original time scheduled.

    We cannot extend session times and no refunds will be granted for latecomers.

    Yes! We encourage wellness in all shapes and forms. Yoga can only be practiced in our Private Room due to space restrictions in the Semi-Private Room.

    Feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you have booked a Private Room Salt Therapy Session. or you can also purchase a yoga mat at the front desk.
